The Little Lunch Club
The Little Lunch Club is a welcoming weekly community café at New Windmill Hall for parents, caregivers, and children under five — a relaxed space to meet others, enjoy lunch, and spend time together.
Held every Wednesday from 11:45am to 2:45pm, the session offers free entry, a soft play area, arts and crafts, and affordable lunches for all.
There is also an interactive children’s session around 1:00pm, which may include nursery rhymes, sing-alongs or story time, helping little ones enjoy play and learning in a friendly environment.
For adults, occasional mini pampering sessions may also be available, subject to availability.
More than just lunch, The Little Lunch Club is about building connection, support, and community for families with young children.
Community Café
Our Community Café at New Windmill Hall offers a warm, welcoming space every Friday from 10:30am to 3:30pm for anyone looking to relax, meet others, and enjoy good company.
Whether you would like to meet family and friends for lunch, enjoy affordable refreshments and snacks, or simply sit with a cup of tea and a chat, the café is open to all in a friendly and inclusive environment.
Visitors can also take part in activities designed to support health and wellbeing, helping create a place where new friendships can grow and everyone feels welcome.
As a community-led space, we encourage visitors to share ideas and interests so the café continues to develop as a place that works for everyone. All proceeds help support the hall and its community work.
